Conditions that are flexible

At BankservAfrica, we value the well-being of our employees and understand the importance of taking time off. Focused people are highly functioning people. Being able to focus is reliant on your state of wellbeing. Our practices are aligned to help our people take the necessary breaks to recharge themselves.

Our leave entitlement applies to all employees who are with us on a permanent or fixed-term contract basis. However, this benefit does not extend to those who work less than 24 hours a month or independent contractors.

We have established a hybrid working arrangement which a number of our people find favourable. This arrangement is better known as the BankservAfrica flexible workplace policy.

The refinement of this policy over time is inevitable as it is aligned to the policies and principles of where our business finds itself at any point in time. The policy is built around two key eligibility factors :
• The nature of the employees work and how reliant their work is on being able to perform their function away from the office, and ;
• The ability of the employee to meet the minimum requirements for a remote or home-based office.
