Employee Engagement

We are currently among the top 31% of companies in our industry!

We actively monitor our employee experience through an Employee Engagement survey, which typically involves a multi-step approach combining quantitative and qualitative measures.

The employee engagement results are benchmarked against all other companies and organisations who participate in the engagement survey.

Customer Satisfaction

We achieved and overall customer satisfaction score of 83% in FY2024!

We create value for our customers by enabling seamless interbank switching, clearing, and settlement, all supported by continuous product enhancements and innovation to meet their evolving needs.

Our customer-led approach, driven by dedicated customer portfolio managers, focuses on both retaining our existing customers and expanding into new markets and opportunities.

Recognising the diverse needs within our growing customer ecosystem, we have moved beyond a one-size-fits-all engagement model.

Annually we conduct two customer satisfaction surveys to measure customer expectations, experiences and loyalty across South African and African customer groups.

Contributing to South African transformation

BankservAfrica is committed to supporting South Africa's transformation agenda. We have developed plans to address the key pillars of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) scorecard, guided by internal frameworks and policies aligned with the Revised Financial Sector Charter targets. We are proud to have retained our B-BBEE Level 1 rating for the third consecutive year.

We contribute to economic transformation and inclusivity by:
• Promoting meaningful participation of black people in the economy
• Increasing engagement with exiting new black women-owned and managed enterprises to support their access to economic opportunities, infrastructure and skills training
• Investing in programmes that enable broad-based economic participation by rural and local communicates, which fosters sustainable development and prosperity.
• Embedding preferential procurement principles to enhance access to finance and achieve B-BBBEE goals
